A bit about me…

Sunshine lover. Professional Yoga Therapy Candidate. Occupational Therapist. Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Minnesotan. Living in the PNW.

I’m a Midwest girl at heart but love living in the Pacific Northwest. Mount Rainier is my favorite mountain and if I could spend all day watching the waves of the Pacific Ocean roll in and out, I would.

I’m a master of occupational therapy graduate from the University of North Dakota. I’ve worked as an occupational therapist and certified lymphedema therapist across the medical spectrum from acute care and intensive care units to outpatient therapy clinics. I’ve worked with people who have a variety of orthopedic, cardiac, and neurological diagnoses in every setting I’ve been in. I always knew growing up that I wanted a career that allowed me to help people, and being a therapist provided me with that opportunity. I have several years of experience as a therapist, and continue to work in that field.

There are so many pros of being a therapist, but being in a hospital setting means being confined. Confined to the walls of the clinic, insurance, and certain body parts/diagnoses. When I started this business I knew I didn’t want to be confined. I wanted to be able to help other people wherever was most convenient for them, and wherever they would get the most benefit out of their yoga practice. I want your yoga practice to be holistic and address the entire you. And I definitely don’t want insurance to dictate your health. As a result of this feeling, I underwent the process of becoming a professional yoga therapist through the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute.

With me by your side you can take comfort in knowing that I have extensive experience in the medical profession and considerable training/certifications. Let me help you take charge of your health. Contact me today!
